A provisional booking should be made through the OSM Venue Booking system and a non-returnable deposit will be needed with the booking. The booking will then be confirmed with notification by e-mail.

Cancellation

In the event that Mowbreck has to cancel your visit all monies will be returned or can be held over for a future visit.

If you have to cancel within 2 weeks of your booked date please contact us as we may have to charge you the cost of your booking.

If you have to cancel within 1 month of your booked date the deposit will be held.

If you cancel earlier than 1 month before the booked date your deposit can be carried over to a future date.

Camp Leaders

The Camp Leader, as stated on the booking form, is responsible for the safety and welfare of their party and for following site safety and other rules as included with this booking form and available on site.

The Camp Leader is responsible for ensuring that a Risk Assessment is carried out for all activities, with insurance cover where necessary, and that a system is in place for recording all of those attending with emergency contact details.

If you are a Scouting Group assessments and Nights Away rules should be followed in accordance with Scout Association Guidelines. In Touch information should be made available to the Duty Warden if on site.

Arrival & Departure

We hope you will be able to keep to your estimated time of arrival and departure, however, if this is not possible please try to let us know.

Non-Scout / Guide camping

Mowbreck Campsite welcomes all campers, however, we are unable to accommodate non scout camping on the campsite at the same time as uniformed youth group camps. Get in touch for more information.

Sole Usage

Any group wishing to use all the site to the exclusion of other groups will incur a sole usage charge of £25 per night unless their total fees are over £150 per night.

Please inform us if any of your group has mobility issues and we can discuss access.

Please note that if the site and equipment is not left tidy or clean then this may incur a cleaning or repair charge.

Parents delivering and collecting children / bringing out extra equipment, will not be charged.

Assistance dogs only on site.

Please inform us if you anticipate more than 10 vehicles using the lane as this presents an issue with farm vehicle access
